FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: drive circuits (1) for driving loads (2) containing light-emitting diodes are equipped with rectifiers (11-14) to exchange the first current signals with fluorescent ballasts (3) with active electronic ballasts and to apply the second current signals to loads (2), with switching circuits (21-27) connecting to rectifiers (11-14) or forming the part to control the energy values provided to the loads (2) and with controllers (31) to control the switching circuits (21) in such a way that switching frequencies of the switching circuits (21) are equal or are less than doubled frequencies of the first current signals. Desynchronization circuits coordinate the output impedances of fluorescent ballasts (3) and the input impedances of the rectifiers (11-14). Start-up circuits (5) increase impedances at the input contacts of the rectifiers (11-14) upon start-up. Current sensors and voltage sensors provide feedback. Controllers (31) synchronize switching frequencies of switching circuits (21) and switching frequencies of active electronic ballasts. Detectors reveal a zero crossing in the first current signals.
EFFECT: reduced energy losses and reduced disturbance.
