SUBSTANCE: invention describes adaptive circuit (1, 1') for supplying direct current of lower voltage to load (2) from source (3) of rectified alternating current of higher voltage, at that the adaptive circuit (1, 1') comprises charge accumulating circuit (21, 21'), moreover the charge accumulating circuit (21, 21') comprises the first capacitor (C1) and the second capacitor (C2) coupled in series in essence, at that the second capacitor (C2) is connected at least in parallel to load (2); and active switch (22, 22') made as controlled current source (22, 22') for control of load current (Iload) through load (2) so that in closed state of the switch load current (Iload) is supplied at least from the first capacitor (C1) in the charge accumulating circuit (21, 21') while in open state of the switch load current (Iload) is supplied in essence from the second capacitor (C2). The invention also describes modified LED lamp (4) containing connection facility (40) to connect lamp (4) to signal (UPS) of the supply mains with higher voltage; LED device (2) rated for supply with lower voltage; and adaptive circuit (1, 1') to change signal (UPS) of the supply mains with higher voltage to signal (UC2) of lower voltage in order to excite LED device (2) of lower voltage.
EFFECT: invention describes supply method of load (2) with lower voltage from source (3) of rectified alternating current with higher voltage.
