FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: radioactive radiation source assembly contains a transparent window for radiation; a shielding part having a cavity of the window part. Transparent for radiation, the window part passes through the cavity of the window part and surrounds it; the radioactive material located inside the cavity of the window part of the shielding part in such a way as to emit the first photons through the cavity of the window part and the radiation-transparent window part; the fluorescent material located between the radioactive material and the radiation-transparent window part receiving the first photons from the radioactive material and generating the second photons and a capsule enclosing a radiation-transparent window part, the shielding part, the radioactive material, and the fluorescent material co-forming the hermetic assembly.

EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining the phase fractions of a multiphase fluid.
