FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: mix of fluids comprises some fluid fractions and some component elements. Proposed method comprises stages whereat measuring tube is subjected to flux of high-power photons and count rate is measured. Said measuring tube allows photon flux to flow through multiphase mix of fluids. Mass density of said mix is defined from measured count rates in first and second power channels. Additionally, proposed method comprises the stages whereat: Electron density of said mix is defined proceeding from count rates measurements in third power channel to compare it with mass density of said multiphase mix of fluids. Measurement device comprises measuring tube. Said measuring tube allows photon flux to flow through multiphase mix of fluids. It comprises also high-power photons source, photons detector, and electronic device connected with said detector. Electronic device comprise processor and memory unit.
EFFECT: higher quality and accuracy of measurements.
