SUBSTANCE: method of channelling the free band frequency range and the device therefore that includes the phase transfer through the first station (STA) to the second frame STA including the information field of operations in a free frequency range with a high bandwidth (TVHT). The information field of the TVHT-operation includes subfields of the primary channel, the channel width, the segment 0 of the central channel frequency and the segment 1 of the central channel frequency. The central channel frequency of the frequency segment 0 or the frequency segment 1 is determined based on the initial channel frequency, and the initial channel frequency is determined as a function of a TV-channel index corresponding to the frequency segment 0 or a TV-channel index corresponding to the frequency segment 1.
