SUBSTANCE: diene polymers contain at the beginning of the polymer chains the tertiary amino groups of formula (II), and also have the silane-containing carbinol groups of formula (III) d as the metal salts at the ends of the polymer chains. Moreover, R¹, R² are the same or different and are alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkaryl and aralkyl radicals, which may contain heteroatoms such as oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur and/or silicon. In the above mentioned formulas (II) and (III), Z is the divalent organic radical, which may contain, besides, the carbon and hydrogen atoms, heteroatoms such as oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur and/or silicon. Moreover, R³, R⁴, R⁵, R⁶ are the same or different and are hydrogen, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkaryl and aralkyl radicals, which may contain heteroatoms such as oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur and/or silicon.
