FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: synergistic herbicidal composition comprises a herbicidally effective amount of (a) a compound of formula : or its agriculturally acceptable salts or ester and (b) a protoporphyrinogen oxidase inhibitor, wherein (b) is at least one compound selected from a group consisting of: acifluorfen, bifenox, carfentrazone-ethyl, flumioxazine, oxadiargil, oxadiazone, oxyfluorfen, pentoxazone, pyraclonyl, pyrafluphene-ethyl and safloufenacil, wherein (a) and (b) are present in combination in a ratio allowing the combintaion to exhibit synergism, and wherein the ratio of (a):( b) is in the range from about 3.5:1 to about 1:156.

EFFECT: invention improves efficiency of weed vegetation control.
