FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method includes preparing a substrate of peat with additives, filling containers with the substrate, sowing seeds in the substrate-filled containers, mulching, and care while growing. As an additive while preparing the substrate, chopped felling residues of grey alder (Alnus incana) in the form of particles of different sizes, but not more than 3 mm, including pulverized particles, are used. The mass fraction of said additive in the substrate is from 7 to 18%.
EFFECT: method ensures environmentally friendly growing seedlings.
