FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: to stimulate the growth of Scotch pine (Pinus sylvestris L.) seedlings, the seeds are soaked in an aqueous solution of spruce tree greenery extract for 6 hours at room temperature. For soaking, an extract of spruce wood greens obtained by the emulsion extraction method is used, containing the amount of biologically active substances (sesquiterpenoids, diterpenoids, polyprenols, sitosterols, fatty acids, hydroxyacetophenones, flavonoids). Seeds are kept for 6 hours in an aqueous solution of the drug from spruce tree greens at a dose of 0.1 ml/kg of seeds. The solution is used at the rate of 5 litres per 1 kg of seeds.

EFFECT: promoting increase in growth parameters and phytomass of seedlings in forest nurseries and achievement of standard sizes by seedlings under conditions of low fertility of arable soil.
