SUBSTANCE: synergistic herbicidal composition comprises a herbicidally effective amount of (a) a compound of formula or its agriculturally acceptable salts or ester and (b) a herbicide inhibiting VLCFA and fatty acids/lipids synthesis, wherein (b) is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of: acetochlor, alachlor, anilophos, benfurasate, caffenstrol, dimethenamid-P, fentrazamide, indanofan, flufenacet, mefenacet, s-metolachlor, molinate, peptoxamide, pretylachlor, prosulfocarb, pyroxasulfone, thenyl chlorine and thio enkarb, wherein (a) and (b) are present in the combination at ratio providing combination synergy, and wherein the (a):( b) ratio ranges from about 1.1:1 to about 1:800.
