FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of the seamless article from chemically pure iridium with the purity not less than 99.99 wt %, having the isotropic structure with the grain size of 100-300 nm. The iridium isostatic pressing is carried out in the form of the powder with the dispersion less than 100 nm at the pressure of 150-350 MPa at room temperature and subsequent sintering at the temperature of 1000-1350°C.
EFFECT: products strength increase.
