SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing flexible thermal insulation by means of precipitating the aqueous suspension of the solid phase components (chrysotile asbestos and trichloride dihydrogen powder (Cr2O3) consists in preparing the solid phase (S), for this purpose, chrysotile asbestos is hydromechanically combed, after which said components are taken by weight: hydromechanically combed chrysotile asbestos 75±1%, trichloride dihydroxide powder (Cr2O3) 25±1%; are dissolved in water (L) at a mass ratio S:L as 1:1000 and precipitated on the filter material surface at the rate of 0.003 g/cm2 of dry substance.

EFFECT: invention allows to obtain flexible thermal insulation for small-sized and miniature thermal chemical current sources.
