FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed is a method for manufacture of insulation for a thermal lithium current source by way of pressing thermally insulating gaskets of a composition including finely dispersed silicon oxide with specific particle surface over 250 m/g, chrome oxide, ultrathin silica fibres and phenolformaldehyde resin.
EFFECT: thermal insulation manufacture method enables fabrication of thermally insulating gaskets with heat conductivity inferior to that still air and with high mechanical strength preventing destruction under impact loads, thus ensuring rigidity of the whole current source structure.
