CLAMPING DEFIBRILLATOR ELECTRODES WITH ILLUMINATED DISCHARGE BUTTONS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61N1/39

Abstract RU 2633472 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: defibrillator contains the main unit with a user control panel (115). The first discharge button (110) having the first shape located on the user control panel. A clamping electrode (200) electrically connected to the main unit. The second discharge button (210) having the first shape located on the clamping electrode. In addition, there are a plurality of non-discharge buttons having a plurality of shapes. The first form is different from any other of the forms. The first form is the same for each of the first discharge button and the second discharge button. The method for defibrillator (100) activation includes the step of provision of the first discharge button (110) on the user control panel (115) located on the defibrillator. Then, an electrical connection is established to the defibrillator of either the pressure electrode (200) having the second discharge button (210) or the adhesive electrode (190). Connections of the adhesive electrode are determined at the stage of electrical connection establishment. The first discharge button (110) is activated only when the electrical connection of the adhesive electrode is determined.

EFFECT: minimized possibility of error during defibrillator application.
