FIELD: automotive engineering.
SUBSTANCE: protective apron has an even sheet of a rectangular shape, the edges of which have a curved seam with a closed cut and/or stitching around. Magnetic elements, embedded in the seam, are inserted into the seam processing on one long edge. In particular cases, the protective apron additionally has magnetic elements on the sides and/or is additionally impregnated and/or rubberized to provide resistance to oil, solvents and to provide water resistance of the fabric, and in a particular embodiment, the magnetic elements can be attached to the sides of the magnetic element with sewn and/or glued and/or welded seams, and/or the magnetic element is adhered inside the edge processing of the protective apron with glue on two or one side to the protective sheet.
EFFECT: protection of paint and lacquer coating of the car from scratches, oil, shocks during repair.
