SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for detecting attempts to install illegal technical devices on vehicles. Proposed method comprises arranging detection elements on vehicle bottom. Detection elements contain a ferroprobe. Ferroprobe is connected to a data processing system and a facility for transmitting processed data to an operator. Data are obtained using detection elements. Detection elements are arranged along the car bottom perimeter. Distance between detection elements does not exceed 30 cm.

EFFECT: higher personal safety when using vehicles.
