FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method for determination of concentration of potassium ions in compound fertilizers involves the preparation of reference solutions and the preparation of a primary sample solution. The sample solution is placed in a volumetric flask, a solution of hydrochloric acid is added and the volume of the solution is topped up with bidistilled water. The analysis is carried out on a flame photometer by the method of limiting solutions.

EFFECT: reduction of the analysis time, increase of the transition of potassium ions to the sample solution and reduction of the measurement error.
