FIELD: analytical chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for sampling for chemical analysis of an aerosol filter clogged with solid beryllium-containing particles is disclosed, including preliminary incineration of the aerosol filter in a muffle furnace and transfer of an ash residue into a solution. In this case, incineration of the aerosol filter is carried out in a stage heating mode, at the first stage, in a temperature range from a room temperature to 450°C, with a heating speed of no more than 500°C/h, and is kept at this temperature for at least 45 minutes, at the second stage, in a temperature range from 450 to 700°C, with a heating speed of no more than 300°C/h, and is kept at this temperature for at least 90 minutes. Then, a cooled ash residue is transferred into an autoclave for evaporation to a dry residue. Then, a mixture of concentrated nitric and hydrofluoric acids is added to the dry residue, the autoclave is sealed and placed in a drying cabinet, and heating is carried out to a temperature of 160°C, at which the autoclave is kept for at least 4 hours. The resulting solution is cooled and diluted with water to a beryllium concentration in the solution, suitable for subsequent chemical analysis.
EFFECT: invention provides for effective dissolution of an aerosol filter clogged with solid beryllium-containing particles for provision of a liquid form suitable for subsequent chemical analysis.
