FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: stair string for manufacturing a stair flight is proposed, characterized in that it is represented by a thin-walled metal profile, at least its narrow lower part has the ovoid or pseudo-ovoid shape in cross section.
EFFECT: created metal stair string is made in a form constructively finished for delivery, and has a higher specific strength, on the third hand, it ensures the increased torsional stiffness.
