SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely, to a method for fixing a wooden stair to metal side and central strings of a stair flight. Specified technical result is achieved by the fact that on the left and on the right the metal guide is welded to a metal side or central string, the wooden stair is placed in its hole on the metal guide, groove on the wooden stair should cover the metal side or central string, a metal threaded pin is inserted into the metal guide, inserting the metal self-threading screw into the wooden stair, metal washer is put and a metal nut elongated onto the metal threaded pin is twisted, while making a connection with tension of the wooden stair with the metal side or central string of the stair flight.

EFFECT: fixing a wooden stair to metal side and central strings without additional support from the bottom of this wooden stair, that is, without riser, obtaining less cumbersome and more lightweight stair flight.
