METHODS AND DEVICE TO REDUCE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR MEMORY FOR SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS IN THE PROCESS CONTROL SYSTEMS Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC G06F9/44 G05B19/42

Abstract RU 2634220 C2

FIELD: information technology.

SUBSTANCE: device to reduce the requirements for memory for the software applications in the process control systems contains: the computer including processor and memory. The processor is configured to implement the stored instructions, that cause the computer to perform at least one of the following actions: the request receipt through the main user interface, associated with the main application, that is associated with the process control system to perform at least one component of the secondary application, associated with the first device in the process control system. The secondary application contains the client application and the server application; creation of the first copy of the client application for the indicated device; creation of the second copy of the client application for the second device in the process control system. The first and second devices are devices of the same type; creation of the server application single copy to serve both copies of the client application: the first and the second, by providing each: the first and the second copies of the client application with information, generated by implementing the specified at least one component for each of the devices: the first and the second. The first and the second copies of the client application provide the information transfer from the server application to the main application, and the indicated at least one component provides the functionality corresponding to the device type to which the first and the second devices belong; creation of the secondary user interface, associated with the first copy of the client application based on the information, generated by the indicated at least one component, implemented by the server application; interaction of the secondary user interface with the main application for display in the main user interface.

EFFECT: requirements reduction to the memory for the software applications in process control systems.
