FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: feeding unit is designed, for example, to feed components to the machine for assembling smoking products. The feeding unit comprises a rotary device having a storage area (4) and one or more channels (7) designed for receiving components from the storage area (4), so that the components are stacked one upon another within each channel (7). Each of the channels (7) has an inlet (5) and an outlet, through which the components pass before unloading from the feeding unit. One of the following elements, the inlet (5) or the storage area (4), is made reciprocally movable relative to the other element for shaking the components in the storage area (4) so that the components pass into the channel (7).
EFFECT: increasing the speed of feeding components.
