FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a drum assembly for use in the manufacture of smoking articles, which includes: a rolling drum having a peripheral surface designed to move the joining of the core products and the strip of wrapping paper; and a gripping device for rolling the joining of the rod products between the peripheral surface of the rolling drum and the gripping jaw, so that a strip of wrapping paper is wrapped around the core products to form a smoking article; wherein the roller assembly is configured to at least double wrap the strips of paper around the bundle of core products.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing wrapping of the core products.
