FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to catalyst composition suitable for treating the exhaust gas comprising: a) aluminosilicate zeolite material including silica and alumina in CHA frame and having silica to alumina ratio (SAR) of 10-25; b) 1-5 weight percent of the base metal (BM) based on total weight of the zeolite material, where the said base metal is located in the said zeolite material as a free and/or non-framed, exchange metal; c) an alkaline earth metal (generally AM) disposed in the said zeolite material in the form of free and/or non-framed exchange metal, where BM and AM are present respectively in a molar ratio of 15:1-1:1. The aluminium dioxide contains aluminium (Al), which is a part of the zeolite frame, and the catalyst composition has (BM+AM) molar ratio: Al 0.1-0.4, and AM is calcium. The invention also relates to catalytically active layer of porous oxide, the catalytic device for processing the exhaust gas and method for reducing NOx in the exhaust gas.
EFFECT: increasing the hydrothermal stability of the material.
