FIELD: blasting.
SUBSTANCE: electrodetonator including a body with current leads, explosive charge, an initiator with electric leads, MEMS switch made in the form of a micro-electromechanical system which is open in its initial position and triggered under the action of overload, an electronic-time unit counting time of action of overload exceeding the threshold value and forming an electric pulse at the output when the counted time interval exceeds certain value. At that the MEMS switch is located in the electric detonator body so that closing of contacts is effected under the action of overload exceeding threshold level acting along longitudinal axis of the electric detonator. One of contacts of the MEMS switch is connected to the current lead of electric detonator, and the other contact is connected to the input of the electronic-time unit, which output is connected to electric output of the initiator.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase safety of electric detonator in service handling.
