FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: lines include a plant to defect rods, a plant for dimensional cutting of rods, a rod heating device, a unit for winding springs from rods, a device for continuous-sequential quenching of springs, a furnace for releasing the springs, a cooling device, spring support winding forming device, a device for grinding spring ends, shotblasting unit for spring treatment, multiple crimping press, a station for controlling geometric and power characteristics of the springs and a unit for painting the springs. The use of proposed units in lines for eliminating rod chamfers for removing stress concentrator prevents formation of hardening cracks and eliminates manual service operation. Thermostats located after the rod heating device equalize the rod temperature along its entire length, which allows the springs to be wound of required structure and increased quality. A spring stamping mechanism serves to identify the springs.
EFFECT: manufacturing efficiency and quality of produced springs on lines is increased.
