The fingerprint recognition sensor is configured, when the switch is open, to transmit the detection signal generated by the plurality of sub-sensors to the fingerprint recognition circuit, respectively, and when the back-up switch is closed, to combine the detection signal generated by the plurality of sub-sensors into a touch signal by a back-up switch and to transfer the touch signal to the touch screen scheme. In accordance with the present invention, the fingerprint and touch screen functions are implemented using a shared fingerprint sensor, thereby increasing the integration of the electronic device; that is, capacitive touch detection and fingerprint recognition functions compatible with each other can be provided simultaneously, thereby increasing the convenience of performing operations by the user.
