SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for detecting pressure applied to a fingerprint sensor associated with terminal technology. Such a result is achieved by eliminating the need to provide a pressure measurement module in a terminal device by successively obtaining the number of n frames of fingerprint images by means of the fingerprint recognition sensor, where n≥2, and n is an integer; recognizing sweat pores from each fingerprint image frame, respectively; obtaining a feature of sweat pores in each frame of a fingerprint image, respectively; and determining the trend of pressure variation applied to the fingerprint recognition sensor according to the trend of changing the feature of sweat pores in n frames of fingerprint images.
EFFECT: technical result is providing lightness of the design of the terminal device.
