SUBSTANCE: providing a "cross" authentication of the navigation message, which includes: a) the periodic generation and transmission of unpredictable bits from currently unconnected satellites to the terrestrial operational segment, b) the generation of digital signatures for data from these satellites and their transmission through the satellites, which are currently connected to the terrestrial operating segment of the satellites. The attacker cannot create a sweeping navigational signal since it contains an unpredictable bit pattern that is simultaneously or a few seconds later verified by a digital signature.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of the determination.
