FIELD: pharmacology.
SUBSTANCE: invention is a topical composition for stimulation of skin or mucous membranes scarring, containing less than 1 CFU/ml of aerobic flora and free of preservatives, which contains, based on the total weight of the composition: at least 0.1 wt % of hyaluronic acid, a mixture of low molecular weight hyaluronic acid having a molecular weight of 600 to 1,000 kDa, and a high molecular weight hyaluronic acid having a molecular weight of 800 to 1,200 kDa, the said high molecular weight hyaluronic acid has a higher molecular weight than the said low molecular weight hyaluronic acid; at least one agent for skin scarring and water. The invention provides a composition where the high molecular weight hyaluronic acid enhances scarring by its film-forming effect, while the low molecular weight hyaluronic acid, due to its penetrability, enhances composition components penetration into tissues.
EFFECT: improved healing properties, improves the epidermis structure and accelerates the differentiation of the granulation tissue.
