FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to a composition and a method for its preparation for use in the treatment and / or prevention of scars. Composition is a gel and contains liposomes and onion extract, at least 20% by weight of which is encapsulated in liposomes, liposomes have a monolamellar structure with a diameter of 50 to 450 nm, the onion extract contains a solvent that includes ethanol in an amount of from 5 to 25% by weight and water in an amount of 95 to 75% by weight, the composition comprising an onion extract in an amount of 0.1 to 25% by weight based on the total weight of the composition, said composition being administered once a day. Method for preparing said composition is also provided.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides a stable composition by means of which an improved treatment of cicatricial formations is achieved when it is applied once a day.
