SUBSTANCE: powder gallium-containing wastes are subjected to boiling in caustic alkali at a temperature of 350-400°C, then they are dissolved in water and the cementation reaction is carried out with the use of aluminium.
EFFECT: method enables production of gallium of semiconductor purity.
