FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method of measuring frequency characteristics of transmission parameters of extended electric circuits in idle mode and short circuit at optimal frequencies includes stages, where both methodical and instrumental errors are minimised, and to eliminate the effect on the result interference voltages measurement after reaching the bridge equilibrium, the generator switches off temporary. The values of primary parameters of circuit transmission (resistance R, inductance L, capacitance C, conductivity of insulation G) at any arbitrary frequency in measured frequency range are determined by interpolation on the basis of adequate approximating functions - their theoretical dependencies. In this case, random measurement errors are eliminated. The values of the secondary parameters of the circuit transmission (attenuation and phase coefficientsα and β, modulus and angle of wave resistance ZB and ϕZ) at any arbitrary frequency in the measured frequency range and in the subband from 0 to the first optimal frequency, are determined based on known relationship between the primary and secondary transmission parameters.
EFFECT: increased measurement accuracy of frequency characteristics of parameters of electric circuits transmission due to reduction of methodical, instrumental and random errors, reduced labour input of measurements of frequency parameters of transmission, determination of parameters of relatively short circuit transmission at low frequencies from 0 to the first optimal frequency.
