FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: method and the corresponding device for monitoring the parameters of the medium voltage electrical network, including the determination of the current strength, voltage and power of each phase for the medium voltage electrical network, are disclosed. The current parameters of the medium voltage electrical network, that is, the current and voltage phasors, as well as the power, are determined on the basis of measurements made by the sensors (12, 14, 16), usually installed in the electrical network (5, 7) at the level of the transformer (8). Specifically, the determination of the voltage phasor on each conductor of the medium voltage electrical network (5) is performed using an amplitude derived from the measured amplitude in the low voltage electrical network (7) and the phase angle measured in the medium voltage electrical network(5). The composition of pairs between the phasors of the medium voltage current, the angle, measured at the medium voltage and outputted low-voltage amplitude is performed by a comparison with the power factor cos ϕ electrical network.
EFFECT: providing acceptable accuracy of power measurements without the use of sophisticated sensors due to measurements of three-phase voltages and power in MV/LV substations with the peculiarity of addressing to the information of voltages measured on the side LV.
