SUBSTANCE: monitoring system is configured to calculate at least one operating condition of the phase conductor line in each of the segments plurality of the phase line of the distribution system using the synchronized phasor data. The system comprises: at least one computer device comprising at least one processor and memory, instructions for execution in the monitoring system are stored in memory, at least one processor is configured to execute instructions for performing the following: receiving the current values at a certain time from a plurality of sensors in the respective portions of the phase conductor line, the portions are connected to the phase conductor line by at least one distribution transformer; taking the voltage values at the noted time from a plurality of sensors; determining the voltage on the secondary side of this at least one distribution transformer at the noted time point based on the current and voltage values received from the plurality of sensors; determining the voltage on the primary side of this at least one distribution transformer based on the voltage on the secondary side at the noted time point; and at least one phase line operation condition is calculated based on the voltage on the primary side of this at least one distribution transformer and the synchronized phasor data.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of faults location on the line.
