SUBSTANCE: watch spring, in particular a spring made of austenitic stainless steel based on iron and chromium, the thickness of the spring is less than 0.20 mm and this spring includes the following by weight: - chrome: the minimum value is 15%, the maximum value is 25%; - manganese: the minimum value is 5%, the maximum value is 25%; - nitrogen: the minimum value is 0.40%, the maximum value is 0.75%; - carbon: the minimum value is 0.10%, the maximum value is 1.00%; - total content (C+N) of carbon and nitrogen 0.40-1.50 wt %; - mass ratio of carbon to nitrogen (C/N) 0.125-0.550; - impurities and additional metals with the exception of iron: the minimum value is 0%, the maximum value is 12.0%; - iron: up to 100%.
