FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: accumulator battery includes a battery module and a heater. The battery module includes a plurality of cylindrical battery cells, a heat-conducting plate, a first chamber and a second chamber. The heat-conducting plate accommodates and retains a plurality of cylindrical battery cells. Cooling air for cooling each of the plurality of cylindrical battery cells is introduced into the first chamber. The second chamber has walls including the first part and the second part. At least the first part of the walls includes a heat-conducting plate. The heater is located at a predetermined distance from the heat-conducting plate and is designed in such a way that air circulates in the second chamber by convection, as a result of this convection, the heat-conducting plate and the electrodes of the cylindrical accumulators are heated.
EFFECT: lowering of the temperature fluctuation between the heated cylindrical battery cells at a low temperature by transferring heat to the heat transferring plate through the air space of the second chamber is a technical result of the invention.
