FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, namely to a heated storage battery, and can be used to increase readiness of vehicles in low temperature conditions. Heated accumulator battery comprises housing, units of positive and negative electrodes separated by separators arranged separately in housing through partitions with electrolyte solution, electric terminals of electrode blocks, connecting buses, heat transmitter with cover and with chemical source of heat energy, as well as heat-conducting electrically insulating gaskets and heat-insulating cover surrounding heat-transfer device with cover. Heat transducer connected to electrical leads through insulating connectors has heat contact pads located on electrically conductive buses and electric terminals, which are made of heat-conducting electrically insulating adhesive, wherein the heat energy source in the form of a chemical substance in the preserved state releases heat after the action of the mechanical starter.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is reduction of heating time and increase of efficiency of accumulator battery operation in conditions of low temperatures.
