SUBSTANCE: expander head comprises a head body equipped with a radially inwardly directed guide flange, a set of expanding cams made in the form of sectors radially movably mounted on the guide flange, and an adapter element. The set of expanding cams is movable between the closed state and the expanded state. The expanding cams on their inner side are bounded by the surfaces of cone segments, which in the closed state of the expander head complement each other, forming a conical surface. The adapter element on its inner side is bounded by another conical surface. Wherein the opening angle of the conical surface on the inner side of the adapter element is less than the opening angle of the conical surface formed by the surfaces of the cone segments on the inside of the expanding cams.
