SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an induction cooktop (100) comprising a continuous plate (105), a plurality of electrically activated elements (1101-1108) of the coils located below the plate, which determine the corresponding cooking zones (1151-1158), and a control unit (135) configured to adjust the power level of the cooking zones. After selecting the first (P1) and the second (P6) power levels for non-contiguous first (1151) and the second (1156) cooking zones, the control module is configured with the possibility of automatical selection for each intermediate zone (1152-1155).
EFFECT: invention allows to easily, quickly and dynamically form cooking zones on the induction cooktop.
