FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for post-treatment of a zeolite material having a BEA framework structure is proposed. The method includes: (i) providing a zeolite material having a BEA framework structure, in which the framework structure includes X2O3 and YO2, where Y is a tetravalent element, X is boron, wherein the molar ratio X2O3:YO2 exceeds 0.02:1, (ii) treating the said zeolite material with the liquid solvent system to form a zeolitic material having a molar ratio X2O3:YO2, which is not more than 0.02:1. After, at least, partially, separating the zeolite material from the liquid solvent system, step (iii) is carried out, that comprises treating the zeolitic material produced in step (ii) at the temperature of, at least, 75°C with a liquid aqueous system, in which the water content exceeds 50 wt %, the system has a pH value in the range of 5.5 to 8.
EFFECT: decreasing the concentration of internal defects in the produced material.
