SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a catalyst for selective catalytic reduction of NOx containing a zeolitic material, said zeolite material containing one or more zeolites, GME having a carcass structure comprising YO2 and X2O3, and further comprises one or more zeolites having the CHA framework structure comprising YO2 and X2O3, where Y represents Si, and wherein X represents Al, and wherein said method comprises: (i) preparing a mixture comprising at least one source of YO2,at least one source of X2O3 and optionally containing seed crystals; (ii) crystallizing the mixture obtained in step (i) to obtain a zeolite material containing one or more zeolites having a GME framework structure and further containing one or more zeolites, having carcass structure CHA; (iii) recovering zeolite material obtained at step (ii); (iv) washing zeolite material obtained at step (iii); (v) drying the zeolite material obtained at step (iv); (vi) exposing the zeolitic material obtained at step (v) to an ion exchange method, wherein at least one ionic frameless element or compound contained in the zeolite material is subjected to ion exchange for Cu. Invention also relates to catalysts (versions) for selective catalytic reduction of NOx, to a method for selective catalytic reduction of NOx and use of the catalyst.

EFFECT: technical result is improved NOx conversion activity.
