FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises (i) producing a zeolite material having a MWW framework structure, the framework structure of the zeolite material including X2O3 and YO2, where Y is a tetravalent element and X is a trivalent element, and wherein the molar ratio X2O3:YO2 exceeds 0.02:1, (ii) treating the produced zeolite material produced in step (i) with a liquid solvent system and thereby producing a zeolite material having a molar ratio X2O3:YO2 amounting to not more than 0.02:1, partial allocating the zeolite material from a liquid solvent system, (iii) processing the zeolite material produced in step (ii) with a liquid aqueous system having a pH in a range of 5.5 to 8 and at a temperature below 75°C in a closed system at autogenous pressure, wherein the pH value of the aqueous system used in step (iii) is determined using a glass electrode for measuring pH.
EFFECT: effective processing a zeolite material, maintaining a constant degree of crystallinity or even increasing the degree of crystallinity.
