FIELD: education.

SUBSTANCE: simulator for technical training of railway transport workers comprises instructor workplace equipment and trainees' workplace equipment. Instructor workplace equipment is made in the form of a single frame module with three liquid crystal displays installed in it, an acoustic warning system and control elements for inputting corresponding control commands and a program control module. The program control module contains an information processing unit, a program module of the instructor and a program module for controlling the workplaces of the trainees. The program control module is made with the possibility of two-way communication with the server of the train simulator to control a simulated scenario, as well as with the possibility of two-way communication and control of the workplaces of the trainees which contain program modules. Each workplace is assigned a unique identification number which is transmitted to the program module by the program module of each active workplace during activation of training scenarios to control the workplaces of the trainees to identify pluggable workplaces of the trainees and the correct separation of data flow between them. Data transmission and communication between the program modules of the workplaces of the trainees is carried out by the program module of the instructor's workplace and the server of the train simulator using the UDP protocol.
