SUBSTANCE: depilation device comprises a housing having a handle portion and a connecting portion; a pair of forceps having an axis, the first and the second end, and at least one pair of forceps clamping elements, the forceps being rotatably mounted around the axis during application; a drive element located within the housing to engage a portion of the forceps for application of rotational motion to rotate the forceps around the axis. The forceps part is installed by cantilever attachment of its first end to the connecting portion. A part of the forceps includes a shaft that does not rotate with respect to the connecting portion. The shaft has an abutment surface adjacent to the second end, and the forceps elements are arranged to rotate about the shaft between the abutment surface and the connecting portion. The depilatory device removes hair by clamping, drawing and releasing.

EFFECT: better access is provided to the forceps elements, in particular, to perform depilation in areas that, otherwise, can be difficult to access.
