SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of hair cutting devices. A motion transmission unit for a drive mechanism of a hair cutting device contains an input shaft with an eccentric part, a motion converter and a tilt lever. The motion converter includes input and output means of coupling the motion converter. The tilt lever contains input and output means of coupling the tilt lever. The output means of the tilt lever interacts with a drive part of a set of blades of the hair cutting device. The eccentric part of the input shaft interacts with the input means of the motion converter. The output means of the motion converter interacts with the input means of the tilt lever. The output surface of the motion converter contact contains a cylindrical part. The output means of coupling the tilt lever is made in the form of a cylindrical part defining the cylinder axis. The cylinder axis of a head part of the tilt lever and the cylinder axis of the cylindrical part of the motion converter are parallel to the axis of rotation.
EFFECT: improved cutting characteristics of the hair cutting device.
