FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing a polymer comprising, at least, one functionalizing unit and one or more types of polyene monomer fragments. The method includes a) obtaining a solution containing (1) one or more types of ethylenediamine monomers comprising, at least, one type of polyene, and (2) an initiating compound, and b) providing anionic initiation for producing carbanionic polymer having average numerical molecular weight ranging from 75000 to 150000 Da. The specified initiating compound is described by the general formula R1ZQ-M, where M is an alkali metal atom, R1 is a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group containing, at least, one group of OR2, where each R2 is a group, which is non-reactive to M and capable to be hydrolyzed, Z is a single bond or a substituted or unsubstituted cyclic alkylene, acyclic alkylene, or arylene group, and Q is a group associated with M through the atom C, N, or Sn.
EFFECT: polymers are characterized by an excellent degree of interaction with both conventional and unusual fillers and can be used to produce vulcanizates with desirable properties.
