SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a modified polymer based on a conjugated diene, as well as a rubber composition for making moulded articles containing said polymer. Modified conjugated diene-based polymer is characterized by that it includes a repeating unit derived from a conjugated diene-based monomer, and a functional group derived from a modifier, wherein, when measuring by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) by controlling the microstructure of the polymer, the difference between the glass transition onset temperature (Tst-n) and glass transition end temperature (Tst-o), at which glass transition occurs, ranges from 10 °C to 30 °C. Glass transition temperature of the polymer ranges from −100 °C to 20 °C.

EFFECT: obtained modified polymer simultaneously has balanced and excellent characteristics of resistance to slippage on a wet road and resistance to movement, as well as improved effects of resistance to abrasion.
