FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: steel sheet contains at least one layer of pure zinc with unavoidable impurities in trace amounts and an upper paint layer applied by means of cataphoresis. The zinc layer is an upper coating layer before the application of a paint layer and is applied by vapor-jet application in a coatings application chamber with the pressure Pk which is 6⋅10-2-2⋅10-1 millibar. Method for manufacturing said steel sheet comprises applycation to a steel sheet a layer of pure zinc with unavoidable impurities in trace amounts by vapor-jet application in the coatings application chamber with the pressure Pk which is 6⋅10-2-2⋅10-1 millibar, then applying a paint to the zinc layer of by means of cataphoresis.
EFFECT: improvement of appearance of the steel sheet with coloured zinc layer.
