SUBSTANCE: method includes moving the metal semi-finished product (4, 9) in the transport direction (13) past the transverse direction (13) transverse to each other and rotating nozzle heads (18). Using the rotating nozzle heads (18) nozzle elements (22, 23, 24, 25) are aimed at a metal surface (2, 3) and under the high pressure flowing fluid stream that may come into contact along the tangent or overlap in a narrow spot (30) between two directly adjacent nozzle heads (18) before getting on the metal surface (2, 3). Nozzle heads (18) rotate synchronously relative each other with such pre-installed angular position (31, 32), that are created by using nozzle elements (22, 23, 24, 25) flowing fluid stream always without contact with each other radiate on a metal surface (2, 3).
EFFECT: increasing the descaling efficiency.
